2022 Working Group 1

This Working Group focused on coming up with concrete recommendations for enhanced regulations and public policies with regard to the two axes of the Net Zero Space Declaration: mitigation and remediation.

To this end, it conducted a thorough study of existing binding requirements in 17 national frameworks around the globe. Ultimately, its policy recommendations aim at paving the way for the establishment of common minimum requirements that allow for better international interoperability of the national legal frameworks.
