2022 Working Group 2

This Working Group focused on advancing international efforts towards a more interoperable way of stipulating the existence of a risk of collision in orbit. Its policy recommendations, elaborated in relation to the observation and commitments of the Net Zero Space declaration, aim at coming up with clearer and more transparent protocols whenever anti-collision maneuvering is deemed necessary, and establishes the need for better understanding of the carrying capacity of Earth’s orbits.
