Both in space and on Earth, Iridium has long been a leader in creating sustainable solutions for a stronger, safer tomorrow and promoting the responsible use of space. Iridium has pledged to:
1. Actively promote responsible behavior by space commercial operators and best practices for orbital debris mitigation to maintain space sustainability;
2. Continue to engage government and commercial partners to improve collaboration and information sharing in the space domain;
3. Deorbit its current satellites at the end of life, consistent with its historic commitment to space sustainability, particularly in Low Earth Orbit; and
4. Continue to share lessons learned from operating and deorbiting its original satellite network with policy makers and the industry.
